This velvet and fur belted robe was worn by Lady Gaga on the television show "American Horror Story: Hotel" (2015-2016), the fifth season of the American Horror Story franchise. Lady Gaga appears as “The Countess” Elizabeth Johnson, a vampiric resident at the mysterious Hotel Cortez in Los Angeles, based on the real-life Cecil Hotel. The series follows paranormal and disturbing events that occur at the hotel. Lady Gaga won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Mini-Series or Television Film for her role

Lady Gaga (Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, b. 1986) is an American singer/songwriter, actress, and fashion designer. The performer rose to prominence in 2008 for her songs “Poker Face” and “Just Dance.” Her subsequent five albums were all on the US Billboard 200. Known for her outlandish fashion, she has worn outfits made of raw meat, Kermit the Frog dolls, and oversized wigs and headpieces made from found objects, among other memorable items. She is on Time Magazine’s All-Time 100 Fashion Icons list.

In 2018 she starred in the drama re-make of A Star is Born and worked on the movie’s soundtrack including the single “Shallow.” She became the first woman to win an Academy Award for Best Original Song, a Golden Globe, a BAFTA Award, and a Grammy all in one year for the chart-topping song. Lady Gaga was named Time magazine’s one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2010 and 2019.
