This costume including a jacket, pants, shirt, vest, scarf, flask and powder horn, was worn by Idris Elba (b. 1972) as Roland Deschain in director Nikolaj Arcel's adaptation of Stephen King's novel The Dark Tower. Roland Deschain, or the last Gunslinger, wore this costume throughout the film as he sought to protect the Dark Tower from Walter Padick, or the Man in Black.

The Dark Tower combines Fantasy, Science Fiction and Western action film genres to tell the story of a mythical tower that is said to be the nexus of all universes. The film was released in 2017 and pulled from several books of the eight-novel series by Stephen King (b. 1947). King states The Lord of the Rings and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly as influences on the popular series. Roland Deschain is an immortal warrior charged with protecting reality itself. Opposing him is a magician, the Man in Black, who wishes to destroy the Dark Tower, an interdimensional gateway at the center of the universe.

Idris Elba is an English actor and producer known for his roles in both television and film. This includes The Wire, Luther, Thor, American Gangster, Beasts of No Nation among others. He has won a Golden Globe and been nominated a total of four times. He has also made the 2016 Time list of 100 Most Influential People in the World.

Long gray duster-style leather jacket with a collar and a black cotton lining. There is a triangular buckle on the proper left shoulder only. The elbows are reinforced and have visible metal grommets. Brown canvas or heavy-duty cotton weave workman-style pants with front button closure. Natural linen shirt with plain collar and historical-style drop-shouldered sleeves. Button-front enclosure with six buttons and a button at each cuff. Black and tan vest with four front strap closures with heavy-duty buckles on each side(fasteners on the proper right side, receivers on the proper left). The tan fabric appears to be canvas, the black perhaps another heavy-duty cotton blend. Russet-colored linen kerchief or scarf.
