Kangol Kid (Shaun Shiller Fequiere, b. 1966 –2021) was a Hip-Hop producer, songwriter, break dancer, and best known as a member of the Hip-Hop group UTFO. Kangol Kid acquired his nickname because of the many Kangol hats he owned and wore which led him to be the first Hip-Hop artist to endorse a product through his official sponsorship with Kangol headwear. In the beginning, Kangol Kid was a breakdancer along with his dance partner, Doctor Ice. As a member of UTFO he was a part of a Hip-Hop group that would go on and become one of the most popular rap and breakdance acts in the country.
