“8th Wonder” / “The Sugarhill Groove” is an EP released in 1980 by The Sugarhill Gang. Signed under Sugar Hill Records this EP was produced by Sylvia Inc. Their single “8th Wonder” reached #15 on the R&B Chart.

The Sugar Hill Gang was a Hip-Hop trio from New Jersey and was discovered and signed to Sugar Hill Records by producer Sylvia Robinson and her husband, Joe Robinson. Members included Wonder Mike (Michael Wright, b. 1957), Big Bank Hank (Henry Jackson, b.1956-2014), and Master Gee (Guy O’Brien, b. 1962). The Sugarhill Gang is considered the first Rap group to help bring Hip-Hop to the mainstream with their 1979 hit "Rapper's Delight" as the first Rap single to become a top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.

Sugar Hill is written in cursive red, blue, and yellow striped colored font. There is a blue skyline of a city in the middle of the cover over a light blue background.
