Love American Style is an EP released in 1989 by the Beastie Boys under Capitol Records.

Beastie Boys is a Rock-Rap group from New York City. The group members include Mike D (Mike Diamond, b. 1966), MCA (Adam Yauch 1965-2012), and Ad-Rock (Adam Horovitz, b. 1967). After the success of their first Hip Hop track, "Cooky Puss" in 1983, they turned into a Rap group that included punk rock tracks in their sound. Beastie Boys were prominent in the mid-'80s with their hit-singles "The New Style" and "(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!), which led to them being signed by Russel Simmons and Rick Rubin’s label Def Jam in 1985.
