The Seattle-based Hip-Hop DJ and emcee collective comprised of DJ Ace (Giovanni Taylor, b. unknown), DJ Skill (b. unknown), L1D (b. unknown), MC Linn (b. unknown), is known as The Emerald City Posse/Players or ECP. The ECP got into the music game through their close friend Kid Sensation (Stephen Spence, b.1971), who landed a deal with Nastymix Records in 1990. The group first appeared on the debut Kid Sensation album on the dedicated cut "Maxin' With The E.C.P." in 1990.
