5001 Flavors is a Harlem, NY-based award-winning fashion company specializing in film, music video and television wardrobe styling for Hip-Hop artists and celebrities. Established in 1992 byhusband-and-wife Guy Sr. Wood and Sharene Wood, the duo gained “behind-the-scenes” notoriety by creating iconic fashions including designing extraordinary leather ensembles. 5001 Flavors has over 25 years of operating their custom-clothing and accessories, fashion styling and manufacturing as a Black-owned family business.

Master P (Percy Robert Miller, b. 1967), is a rapper, actor, entrepreneur, investor, author, filmmaker, record producer, philanthropist, and former basketball player. He is the founder of the label No Limit Records. Miller gained fame in the late 1990s with the success of his group TRU and first solo album Get Away Clean in 1991. In 1997, he grew in popularity after his single “Make ’Em Say Uhh!” went 2x platinum, and the release of his album Ghetto D. Miller also directed, produced, wrote, and starred in the semi-autobiographical street movie I’m Bout It. In 1998, Miller released his most successful album to date, MP da Last Don, which reached #1 on the Billboard 200 chart and has since sold over four million copies. In the early 1990s Miller became one of the first and most popular Rap artists to emerge from New Orleans and went on to added success as a producer for other artists, and a record company entrepreneur. New Orleans’ current stature as a hotbed of Rap, Hip-Hop and Bounce music can be traced, in large part, to Miller’s pioneering work.

No Limit Records was an American record label founded by rapper, entrepreneur, and CEO Master P. The label included artists such as Snoop Dogg, Silkk the Shocker, Mystikal, Mia X, Mac, C-Murder, Magic, Romeo, Fiend, Kane & Abel, and Soulja Slim. In 1998, No Limit Records would have the greatest year in Hip-Hop history releasing a staggering 23 albums—some reports say 29 unofficial No Limit releases. During the 1990s, No Limit releases came to define New Orleans hip-hop for national audiences with a growing roster. The label’s extensive roster included artists from elsewhere such as the iconic West Coast artist Snoop Dogg, who released several albums between 1998 and 2001.
