"Flava in Ya Ear" is the debut single by Craig Mack. The original club mix single was released on 12-inch vinyl in July 1994 on the Bad Boy records. The remix featured verses from the Notorious B.I.G., LL Cool J, Rampage and Busta Rhymes. The single peaked at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100. It was certified Platinum by the RIAA and has sold over 1,000,000 copies in the United States. The song received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Rap Solo Performance at the 37th Grammy Awards in 1995

Craig Mack (Craig Jamieson Mack, 1970 – 2018) was an rapper best known for his hit single "Flava in Ya Ear." Born in South Carolina, Mack rose to prominence in the mid-1990s with the release of his debut album, Project: Funk da World. The album's lead single, "Flava in Ya Ear," was a huge hit, reaching the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earning Mack widespread recognition. Mack's distinctive style, which blended smooth, melodic rapping with a unique delivery, made him one of the most distinctive voices in hip-hop at the time.
