Text Entries“Cosmic Blast / The Pure ″ by Captain Rock was released in 1984 on Fraternity Music Group. Cosmic Blast was one of three records that Ronnie Green/Captain Rock recorded for Taharqa and Tunde-ra Aleem's Harlem-based Nia Records. This is volume 2 of Undercover Brother’s 80’s Playlist and is produced and mixed by Marley Marl and Aleem.
The Captain/Captain Rock/Ronnie Greene (Ronald Wayne Greene, d. 2021), is a rapper and DJ emerging in the late 1970s Hip-Hop era. Captain Rock DJ’d for Dr. Jeckyll & Mr. Hyde under the moniker DJ Ronnie Green. His releases include "You Stink" and "Bongo Beats" and his debut "Cosmic Glide" which had anElectro Disco-Funk sound.
