The appliance was worn by actor Vivian Kyle (b. unknown) who is also known for roles in Siren (2016) and Hallowed Be Thy Name (2020). Kyle is only credited as Monster #15 in the film credits. The appliances were created by make-up artists Fionagh Cush (b. unknown) and Steve Prouty (b. unknown), who won an Oscar for his work on Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa (2014).

The Snake Lady character first appeared in Escape from the Carnival of Horrors, the first in the Give Yourself Goosebumps gamebook series (2015).
