“Alright" is a single released by Kriss Kross, from their second album Da Bomb in 1993. The song was produced by Jermaine Dupri and was a commercial success, reaching the top 30 on the US R&B charts and helping to solidify Kriss Kross's place as one of the most popular hip hop acts of the 90s.

Kris Kross was a southern Hip-Hop duo consisting of Mac Daddy (James Christopher Kelly, 1978 –2013) and Daddy Mac (Christopher Smith, b. 1979) from Atlanta, Ga. The duo was discovered at Greenbriar Mall in Atlanta in 1991 by a 19-year-old Jermaine Dupri. Signed to So So Def Records, Kris Kross' first album, Totally Krossed Out,  was released in 1992 and was an instant hit, thanks in part to the massive success of the lead single "Jump." The album sold millions of copies and went multi-platinum, establishing Kris Kross as one of the hottest acts in Hip-Hop. The group's unique style, which included wearing their clothes backwards, quickly became a trend and helped to define the look of 90s hip-hop. Due to their popularity and unique style, the duo landed a spot on Michael Jackson's 1992 European Dangerous World Tour as well as a cameo appearance on Jackson's music video for his 1992 single "Jam".
