Text EntriesCharlie Ahearn (Charlie Ahearn, b. 1951) is an American film maker, author, freelance writer, radio host and video art producer from New York. He is also known for his 1983 Hip-Hop film Wild Style. In 1980, Ahearn began working with Fab five Freddy and Lee Quiñones for the film which took its name from the graffiti painting style of the same name. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Wild Style, Ahearn also wrote the book Wild Style: The Sampler, published by Powerhouse Books in 2007.
