The T-Connection was a popular and historic club located in the Bronx, New York, that embraced hip-hop culture. Owned by Ritchie Tee (birthdate unknown), many events like rap battles, awards shows, birthday celebrations, and rap performances took place at the T-Connection. Many of hip-hop’s pioneers like The Herculordes, Grand Wizzard Theodore, Kool Kyle “The Starchild”, Afrika Bambaataa, The Funky 4+1, and Grandmaster Flash frequented the club to DJ, rap, dance, and perform. Many prominent hip-hop DJs and rappers rose to fame from hosting events and performances at the T-Connection.
