OutKast is an Southern Hip-Hop duo formed in 1992 in East Point, Georgia. The duo consists of Atlantabased rappers André 3000/Dré (André Lauren Benjamin, b. 1975) and Big Boi (Antwan André Patton, b. 1975). OutKast is one of the most successful Hip-Hop groups of all time, winning six Grammy Awards and with the release of six studio albums and a greatest hits release, Outkast have sold over 20 million records.
