The LOX

The LOX is a Hip-Hop group from Yonkers, New York. Members include rappers Jadakiss (Jason Terrance Phillips, b. 1975), Styles P (David R. Styles, b. 1974), and Sheek Louch (Sean Divine Jacobs, b. 1976). The group was formed in 1994 and signed to Bad Boy Records in the late 1990s due to Mary J. Blige passing their mixtape to P. Diddy. In 1998, the group released their debut album Money, Power & Respect, which was a commercial success and established The LOX as a major force in the rap game. Over the years, The LOX have released several successful albums and have collaborated with some of the biggest names in hip-hop, including Lil Kim, Wu-Tang and DMX. The LOX's gritty lyrics and hard-hitting delivery earned them a dedicated following, and they quickly became known as one of the most influential rap groups out of Yonkers.
