DJ Premier: Crooklyn Cuts [Mixtape]

Crooklyn Cuts was a series of mixtapes in the early to mid-1990s featuring production by DJ Premier. The mixtapes were released in 1996 on Tape Kingz and featured many artist such as Nas, Krs One, Mob Deep and Ghostface.

DJ Premier/Preemo (Christopher Edward Martin, b. 1966), is a record producer and DJ. He is regard as one of the greatest Hip-Hop producers of all time and was half of the Hip-Hop duo Gang Starr—alongside the rapper Guru. DJ Premier's style of production embodies the New York sound of his earlier peers due to his sampling jazz, funk, and soul artists and the originator of the boom-bap style of hip-hop production. Notable artists he has worked with include Anderson .Paak, Big Daddy Kane, Christina Aguilera, Common, Janet Jackson, Jay-Z, KRS-One, Limp Bizkit, Nas, The Notorious B.I.G., Rakim, Snoop Dogg, Xzibit and many more.
