Text EntriesThis is a rare patch created to promote the film Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi, when the film's subtitle was still Revenge of the Jedi. Director George Lucas changed the name only two months before the film’s release on May 25, 1983, in response to objections by fans that seeking revenge doesn't match Jedi values. By that time, though, several promotional materials with the original title had been produced.
Cloth patch that is five inches tall featuring the character Yoda in a circular section within a vertical rectangular patch. "Revenge of the Jedi TM" is embroidered above Yoda and "Star Wars" is embroidered below.
