“Bucktown” was Smif-n-Wessun’s first single and gave the group hype for their debut album, Dah Shinin', (1995). Bucktown is also a common nickname for Brooklyn. “Let's Git It On” is the B-side single, which was also featured on their 1995 debut album “Dah Shinin'”.

Smif-N-Wessun is a Rap duo from Brooklyn, New York. The duo included emcees Tek (Tekomin Williams, b. unknown) and Steele (Darrell Yates, b. unknown). The album was noted for its hardcore lyrical content and production and selected as one of The Source's 100 Best Rap Albums of All Time.
