MC Shan is best known for his song "The Bridge" produced by Marley Marl. The track was a diss track which recited the praises of their home borough (Queensbridge) and some of its earlier rap crews and was taken to imply that Queensbridge was where Hip-Hop began. The track was apart of the feud betweeb The Juice Crew and the Boogie Down Bronx Productions. The feud began in 1985 with Boogie Down Productions, Scott La Rock and KRS-One and Queensbridge-based producer Marley Marl & MC Shan of the Juice Crew.

MC Shan (Shawn Moltke, b. 1965) is a Queensbridge/Long Island based rapper and R&B artist. Cousin to the famous Marley Marl, MC Shan was also a member of rap collective Juice Crew All-Stars and was one of the first Hip-Hop artists to have a major record deal with Warner Bros. He is best known for his song "The Bridge" produced by Marley Marl, and for collaborating with Snow on "Informer", the international number-one hit single.

Vinyl has the track list and credits printed.
